I am Sivaraman, father of Guruprasad who is my only son. He was born with down syndrome. At the age of 6 months he had an episode of epilepsy which handicapped him further. He is 9 years now but he cannot walk, talk or do any of his personal duties on his own
We were advised to go for physiotherapy to regain some of his motor activities. The physio sessions came to a halt during the pandemic. Right now we are trying all we can at home. The doc suggested a special designed chair that will help him sit on his own and slowly help him become more independent.
The chair costs 15,000 rupees. We hope it will help him out.
I am a daily wage driver and my wife stays at home to take care of my son. With my meager income it is not possible to get the specially able equipment
