Name: Mr Trimoorthy
Relationship: Others
Address: null
Mr Trimoorthy, a father of two adolescent boys, is a farmer by profession. Him and his wife are daily wage workers, with my little to no properties or savings to their name.
Such are the series of unfortunate events and timings that, mr Murthy, who had stepped out of his home that morning 11 months ago, to buy some medications from the local pharmacy. Intrigued by the crowd around a workshop, he went to see what the commotion was about, wherein he saw several men lighting pots of petroleum on fire to check for adulteration. One such pot, which was alight, was kicked by the person who set fire to it, and mr Murthy happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. The burning petroleum spilled on his thighs and hands, causing extensive burns.
He had no savings to his name, no insurance, no one to help him. With much difficulty , requesting funds from his family and friends alike.
Such was his Ill fate that the healing of the surgery wound did not go as planned, and he developed extensive contractures and keloids( mass like scar tissue growth) which slowly spread across both his legs, rendering him unable to even stretch his left leg full.
Current he has been struggling for the last 10 or so months, with neither him nor his wife being able to go for work , his family finances are running on a meagre 5000 rupees a month.
He will need extensive contracture release of both ankle and knee and flaps to cover the tendons and popliteal fossa, it has to be done in two or more stages and with serial casting to correct the contracture. I may need to involve the ortho for external fixator and traction. If he needs a free flap its going to shoot up the cost. At the bare minimum he will need a month long hospitalization and three surgeries and its going to cost at least 3 lakhs. Just to make him walk!. Now he is being sent here from ODC for treatment.
Your Small amount will help more for us.
Thank you.
