Shankari, a widow who is 70yrs old and doesn't have anyone to care for her. Her husband passed away and her daughters got married and gone to their respective houses. Shankari gets Rs.400/ a month from Govt. She pays Rs.100/ as rent and with rest Rs.300/ she manages her food. Sometimes she eats and sometimes doesn't. Our feeding program gives her hope that she would get a decent meal every day. This makes her smile. You can make someone like Shankari smile with hope for future through your sacrificial contribution of Rs.1000/ per month per person.
Looking at the pain and struggle the poor people are going through during the lockdown, The Burning Lamp Ministry initiated a daily feeding program for the poor and widows who are lonely, depressed and helpless in New Alipore slum in Kolkata. We can provide food daily to 1 person with Rs.1000/ for whole month.
You too can help feed them.
